Home is where the heart is...

Homesickness.
One of my most feared words that I have never wanted to feel but always do.
I've recently found a few ways to remedy my homesickness here are my current tips and tricks:
1) Go for a walk, sunshine and fresh air are miracle workers
2) Clean, for some strange reason it makes you feel happy once you have cleaned an area that needed to be clean as you will always enjoy the finished product of cleanliness
3) Get dressed into your comfy clothes, put on some leggings and a big sweater
4) Make a list of Goals you wish to achieve in the next year or week or month etc.
5) Find a pinterest craft you would like to try out and make it!
6) Invite a friend over for lunch! Being around people makes you happy and you can enjoy the company of someone else and just having coffee and cake and a good laugh
7) Start a list of things you're thankful for like 5 a day
8) Watch a movie that makes you laugh and smile or awhh 
9) Take a hot bath with a bath bomb and lavender oil
10) Read from the book of Psalms. Find a passage that comforts you, write it down somewhere you'll see it often.
11) Bake something yummy
12) Exercise, go for a run or something healthy
13) Fix a cup of your favourite hot tea and sip or hot chocolate 
14) Read a great book
15) Think of someone you can encourage. Pray for them. Write them a note.
16) Rearrange your decor! A new style is always fun and different
17) S.M.I.L.E
